September 2020 wrap up and October goals

I’m really excited that it is almost October, and that it is already fall! I love fall so much with the rain, and the leaves changing color, and pumpkin spice everything, and of course Halloween! Anyways, here is what I did in September, and my goals for October!

August 2020 wrap up and September goals

Hello! My name is Aria, I haven’t posted in almost 2 weeks, and I’m kind of in a blogging slump. But I want to get this post out before it’s October, so here I am.

September is here, and has actually been here for a while. I sort of popped off the blogosphere for a week and a half, because I was gone, and then I came back but I had some stuff going on, and I had no motivation to write.

But here is what I did in September, in all its bookish and non-bookish splendor.

A life update: How my life is being affected by the coronavirus

Hello there! It’s April at last. Rainy most days, sunny a few, where I live. Unfortunately, because of social distancing and sheltering in place, I can’t enjoy as much. But read on to hear me rant about how the coronavirus is affecting me and all the stuff I’ve looked forwards to and enjoy doing that are officially canceled.

March 2020 wrap up and April goals

Hello. Hi. How are you? It’s finally April! It’s Spring! I am spending this great time… sheltering in place. Socially distanced, I am writing, reading, blogging, sleeping, eating, thinking about how right now, we are in the midst of a global pandemic. How covid-19 has spread across the globe. But, right now, I’m going to go into my March wrap up, April goals and a little general update!

It’s my six month blogiversary exactly today and I have a post almost ready that needs way more work but here I am ranting about stuff in my life right now

Hi it’s very late where I am but I just want to write right now so here I am.

Isn’t that pretty? (Photo by Oleg Magni on Pexels.com)

So here I am with a few things that I was terribly wrong about.

  1. First of all, I thought that hitting the 6 month mark for blogging would be crazy, and that by then I would feel like an almost, kind of, partially experienced blogger. It is not so. I feel like I just started blogging a few days ago…
  2. Whenever I get an email from wordpress, or see a notification that someone has liked, commented, seen, noticed, viewed I am so so happy, and that is one thing that I thought would get less exciting over time. Well it doesn’t, and that is actually not a bad thing to be terribly wrong about.
  3. I thought this was a good topic for me to write stuff about but now I can only think of two things so I’m moving on now…

Tomorrow is the solo and ensemble festival, where I’m going to be playing a trumpet solo for the judges and I think it’s kind of a competition but I don’t know. I really don’t.

I have a science test on march third and the review packet is due Monday. I don’t like homework.

I have math homework that I’m not looking forwards to doing.

I have french homework that I’m also very much not looking forwards to doing.

WE ARE STARTING A UNIT ON ANNE FRANK AND THE HOLOCAUST IN HISTORY CLASS!!!!!!!!! I am so so so happy about that, because that is such an interesting topic for me. I like history almost as much as I like books. That is probably a bit of an exaggeration, but anyways, I like history. And one of my favorite genres of books is wwii historical fiction. Also I consider it very bad like extremely bad that not the holocaust or either of the world wars has been a unit in school up until now. I’m in 7th grade, and I’m happy that we’re finally getting to some of it, but it’s still not fantastic. I guess it’s an improvement, so I’m happy about that.

I have ballet tomorrow. Before the solo and ensemble festival.

I have waaay to much going on right now in my life.

But tonight I watched Frozen two with my sister.

And it wasn’t actually too bad.

I actually kind of enjoyed it.

Although I have been ferociously opposed to watching this movie because I am not a fan of the first frozen, I actually like it, and am glad I watched it.

My reading schedule is kinda boring right now, because of OBOB, the reading competition I’m doing. I’m rererererererereading the books so I know them really well, but it’s not getting me new stories, new words, new plot twists, new characters, and that is what I practically live for, so I kind of miss that.

Anyways, this post is a lot different than I expected it to be, and I will be getting that whole fancy 6 month blogiversary post with an extra special thing that you’ll just have to wait and see about.

So, that’s what I’ll end off with. And now I’m off to sleep, having at least completed a post for my 6 month blogiversary, I guess!

Happy reading!
