Hello! My name is Aria, I haven’t posted in almost 2 weeks, and I’m kind of in a blogging slump. But I want to get this post out before it’s October, so here I am.
September is here, and has actually been here for a while. I sort of popped off the blogosphere for a week and a half, because I was gone, and then I came back but I had some stuff going on, and I had no motivation to write.
But here is what I did in September, in all its bookish and non-bookish splendor.
It’s Friday, and today, my book blog, turns one year old! I wanted to do something fun for it, so I decided to write a little about how my blog has changed, a few things that I’ve learned about blogging, and that’s about it! I can’t believe that it’s been an entire year, and I’m so happy with where I’ve gotten to with my blog. According to WordPress, over the past 12 months, I’ve written 185 blog posts, about all sorts of topics, my blog has had 6,609 views, and 170 people has followed my blog.
But that isn’t what makes me the most happy; because those are really just numbers. I’ve made so many friends, and I’ve discovered a whole new community of other people who love books.
So, without further ado, here is my story of my blog!
Hello and happy Friday! Let’s Talk Bookish is a weekly discussion post created by Rukky @ Eternity Books and is hosted by Rukky and Dani @ A Literary Lion! This week’s topic is:Do You Use an Online Persona for Book Blogging? (suggested by Lydia @ Lydia Schoch)
Hello! Today I finally bring to you my answers to the questions that a few of you asked me about a month ago. And also the answers to the questions I got five months ago that I never answered. Sorry guys!
This has been a lot of fun to do, but I think that in the future I might structure it differently, because I sort of just threw my plea for questions randomly at the bottom of one of my posts. Next time, I’ll do it differently!
Anyway, I’ve answered all of the questions I got below, and it was really fun!
I kind of completely waited until the last minute to finish this, but I did it!!
My wonderful readers, it’s here, and I am incredibly happy to share with you today my nominations for the 2020 book blogger awards!
This is the fourth annual book bloggers awards, and this year it is being hosted by May @ Forever and Everly and Marie @ Drizzle and Hurricane Books! I really appreciate them organizing this because I think the awards are a wonderful way to discover new blogs and to support our fellow book bloggers!
Also, there are so many amazing bloggers out there, and I couldn’t put all of you into this post!! If I didn’t put your blog here, it doesn’t mean that I don’t love it! I don’t want to make anyone feel bad, that is the opposite of what this is for.
Hello and happy Friday! Let’s Talk Bookish is a weekly discussion post created by Rukky @ Eternity Books and is hosted by Rukky and Dani @ A Literary Lion! This week’s topic is:Our Responsibilities as Bloggers & Readers.
I went into this post not exactly sure what I would write, but it actually turned out pretty long, and I had a lot of fun writing it! I’ve never really thought about our responsibilities as bloggers and readers, and this post was a lot of me rambling along as I tried to explain my thoughts. But that’s a lot of my posts, so let’s just get into it!

Hello! I was tagged by Rukky @ Eternity Books for the sunshine blogger award! She tagged me for this more than three months ago, but I’m very happy to be finally getting to it. Rukky is one of the nicest bloggers I know and you should definitely go check out her blog because it’s amazing! Anyway, thank you so much Rukky for nominating me for this, and without further ado, here is my second take on the Sunshine blogger award!
Hello! I guess it’s time for me to do this tag? I was going to do it on June first, but then I forgot about it and was busy and here we are 20-something days later and I’m finally doing it. I was tagged for this by two wonderful bloggers: Kay @ Hammock of Books and Jane @ Blogger Books! Both of their blogs are wonderful and you should go over right now because both of them have wonderful bookish content!
Also, as Kay put it, this tag is like one giant game of telephone and it honestly is. Kay and Jane both did slightly different versions, but overall it’s the same. So, I answered 15 questions about books and stuff, so here they are!
Before I get into the questions though, here’s an update on my Goodreads challenge:
