It’s 2021, and I’m am so excited for the new year! I have lots of goals and plans for the year! I don’t really have anything to say here, so I guess I’m just going to get right into the wrap up!

In December, I read fifteen books
- 12 were physical books
- 2 were audiobooks
- 1 was an ebook

My goals for posting in December were…
- 2 Top Ten Tuesdays
- 2 Let’s Talk Bookish
- 3 WWW Wednesdays
- 3 Tags
- 3 Reviews
- 3 My Bookish Rambles
- 4 Other posts
In December I wrote 19 posts, and I’m really happy with that! I actually met my goals for tags and reviews, and although I didn’t really do any my bookish rambles posts, I’m happy with how I did on everything.

This is my TBR for January!
In 2021 I’m going to try and make shorter, 10 book tbrs for each month, and this is mine for January! I am going to try and read more than 10 books each month, but to make my TBRs more managable, I’m going to stick with putting 10 books on them. Then, I’ll be able to reread favorites and stuff like that.

I’ve written out a more detailed schedule for the posts that I want to do in January, but I’m not going to put that here. Overall though, my goal is 16 posts.
I also want to try and schedule more of my posts, and not be so rushed with writing them.
I want to do a few reviews, and also a fair amount of book tags. I’ll also have a few more 2020 wrap up posts coming, like my favorite books of the year. Mostly though, I just want to write what I want to write, and have fun with that!

In December, I wanted to step back, and take a break from my nanowrimo project, and maybe work on some other short stories. I did half of that. I didn’t work on my nanowrimo novel that much at all, but I didn’t do much other writing.
In January, I want to really work on redoing the first part of my wip, switching the point of view, and also adding in some other parts that I’ve started to work out.
December posts I loved (and some November ones)
Marie @ Drizzle and Hurricane Books wrote a helpful post time management as a book blogger
Sofi @ A Book. A Thought. is creating a book blogger list
May @ Forever and Everly compiled a list of 75+ book releases for the first half of 2021
Daria @ Bookaholic’s Therapy wrote a post of literary subgenres she’s never heard of.
Ruby @ Ruby Reads and Reviews made a list of some of her most anticipated middle-grade 2021 releases
Life
Winter break was really nice, and it was really great to have a break from zoom. I’m not excited for going back to hours and hours of zoom every day though.
I’m trying bullet journaling, and January is my first month. I’m hoping that it will help me be more organized.
I went cross country skiing in December, and that was really fun. I really am hoping that it snows this winter where I live. It almost never snows, but I’m still hoping it will!
And that’s pretty much how my December went! I got a fair amount of reading done, winter break was really nice, and not too much else. School is starting back up, which means I’ll have less time to blog and read. I do hope that I can keep up with my reading goal though!

So many great books on here! I loved The Lunar Chronicles (Cress is my favorite), the Janies, and The Mortal Instruments (although The Infernal Devices is my favorite). Happy Reading in 2021!

I simply adore The Little Prince. It’s pretty much the most perfect book ever written! And Violent Delights is mesmerizing. I had a lot of fun reading that one. That’s a great list of books you got there. Happy reading!
