Hello! I hope you are all having a wonderful Tuesday so far! Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by Jana @ That Artsy Reader Girl. Each week there is a bookish topic and you make a list of the top ten (or twenty, or five) that fit the topic! This week’s topic is characters that I’d follow on social media. I don’t actually have any social media other than my blog and Goodreads, but I’m still excited for this week’s topic!

Continue reading “6 month blogiversary!//The book blogging firsts tag and a Q&A with me, the blogger!”It’s my six month blogiversary exactly today and I have a post almost ready that needs way more work but here I am ranting about stuff in my life right now
Hi it’s very late where I am but I just want to write right now so here I am.

So here I am with a few things that I was terribly wrong about.
- First of all, I thought that hitting the 6 month mark for blogging would be crazy, and that by then I would feel like an almost, kind of, partially experienced blogger. It is not so. I feel like I just started blogging a few days ago…
- Whenever I get an email from wordpress, or see a notification that someone has liked, commented, seen, noticed, viewed I am so so happy, and that is one thing that I thought would get less exciting over time. Well it doesn’t, and that is actually not a bad thing to be terribly wrong about.
- I thought this was a good topic for me to write stuff about but now I can only think of two things so I’m moving on now…
Tomorrow is the solo and ensemble festival, where I’m going to be playing a trumpet solo for the judges and I think it’s kind of a competition but I don’t know. I really don’t.
I have a science test on march third and the review packet is due Monday. I don’t like homework.
I have math homework that I’m not looking forwards to doing.
I have french homework that I’m also very much not looking forwards to doing.
WE ARE STARTING A UNIT ON ANNE FRANK AND THE HOLOCAUST IN HISTORY CLASS!!!!!!!!! I am so so so happy about that, because that is such an interesting topic for me. I like history almost as much as I like books. That is probably a bit of an exaggeration, but anyways, I like history. And one of my favorite genres of books is wwii historical fiction. Also I consider it very bad like extremely bad that not the holocaust or either of the world wars has been a unit in school up until now. I’m in 7th grade, and I’m happy that we’re finally getting to some of it, but it’s still not fantastic. I guess it’s an improvement, so I’m happy about that.
I have ballet tomorrow. Before the solo and ensemble festival.
I have waaay to much going on right now in my life.
But tonight I watched Frozen two with my sister.
And it wasn’t actually too bad.
I actually kind of enjoyed it.
Although I have been ferociously opposed to watching this movie because I am not a fan of the first frozen, I actually like it, and am glad I watched it.
My reading schedule is kinda boring right now, because of OBOB, the reading competition I’m doing. I’m rererererererereading the books so I know them really well, but it’s not getting me new stories, new words, new plot twists, new characters, and that is what I practically live for, so I kind of miss that.
Anyways, this post is a lot different than I expected it to be, and I will be getting that whole fancy 6 month blogiversary post with an extra special thing that you’ll just have to wait and see about.
So, that’s what I’ll end off with. And now I’m off to sleep, having at least completed a post for my 6 month blogiversary, I guess!

Happy reading!
WWW Wednesday 19
Hello and happy Wednesday, everybody! Tonight has been pretty crazy for me, and I have a french grammar test tomorrow, but right now is time for WWW Wednesday! WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Sam @ Taking On a World of Words, and how it works is each week I answer three questions:

- What are you currently reading?
- What did you recently finish reading?
- What do you think you’ll read next?
What are you currently reading?
I am currently reading The School for Good and Evil, by Soman Chainani and The Teacher’s Funeral, by Richard Peck.

What did you recently finish reading?
I recently reread It Ain’t So Awful, Falafel, by Firoozeh Dumas, the Novice, by Taran Matharu and Things Not Seen, by Andrew Clements. I also finally finished Crooked Kindom, by Leigh Bardugo which was so so so so sad, but incredibly written.
If you want to see all the books I’ve read so far this year, check out my Goodreads, where I (mostly) keep up with all the books I read.

What do you think you’ll read next?
Next, I really want to reread both The List, by Patricia Forde and Frogkisser, by Garth Nix.

*I also was experimenting with a different style of featured image in this post and the last one, so I’d love to hear what you think about that. I’m also going to be experimenting with redoing my blog’s graphics, keeping them kind of similar, but a little different? I’ll figure it out. But anyways, that should be happening in the next couple of days.

What are you currently reading? What do you think about my blog’s old graphics vs the new ones I’m trying out? Chat with me in the comments below! I’d love to hear your opinion!
Happy Reading,
Aria

Hello everybody! I’m very excited to do this tag/award because I’ve seen it on so many blogs, and I think it’s amazing that this award has been floating around the internet since 2011! I was nominated by Lori @ Lori’s Bookshelf Reads for this award, so thank you Lori! Anyways, without further ado, here is the Liebster Award!
