Hello! Today, I have a post that I had a lot of fun putting together, and is one that I’m very happy to share. It’s also very important to read books by Black authors all year round, and not just in February for Black history month. These are all books that I loved reading, and that I definitely recommend! You can click to see the synopsis of each book. I got all of the synopsis from the author, publisher, or Goodreads.Continue reading “9 books by Black authors I recommend”

Hello! I hope you are all having a wonderful Tuesday so far! Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by Jana @ That Artsy Reader Girl. Each week there is a bookish topic and you make a list of the top ten (or twenty, or five) that fit the topic! This week’s topic is characters that I’d follow on social media. I don’t actually have any social media other than my blog and Goodreads, but I’m still excited for this week’s topic!Continue reading “Top Ten Tuesday: Characters I’d follow on social media”
WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Sam @ Taking On A World of Words. How it works is I answer 3 questions:
- What are you currently reading?
- What did you recently finish reading?
- What do you think you’ll read next?
What are you currently reading?
I am currently reading Frogkisser, by Garth Nix, The Book Thief, by Markus Zusak and listening to one of the 39 clues books Mission Hindenburg, by C Alexandre London.
What did you recently finish reading?
I recently finished reading The Teachers Funeral, by Richard Peck. I’ve read this book before, and Richard Peck is one of my favorite authors. His books are all really funny.
What do you think you’ll read next?
Next, I want to read the rest of the mother daughter book club, which I have wanted to finish for a while now, but haven’t gotten around to. I also want to rererereread Stella by Starlight, by Sharon M Draper, which is one of my favorite books!
That’s it for today, so happy reading, and have a happy Halloween!
