The Evermore Book Tag

Hello! Lori tagged me for the Evermore book tag a while ago, which I was so happy about, because I love Evermore (Taylor Swift’s newest album), and the tag looked so fun. However, when I started working on the tag I got slightly mixed up, and accidentally did the Evermore book tag that the wonderful Ruby did a while ago, that I confused with the one that I was tagged in.

Because I did all of the prompts before realizing I had the wrong tag, I’m going to just stick with the tag that Ruby did! So, thank you so much Lori for the tag, and thank you to Ruby for the amazing post that gave me all of these prompts. I loved these prompts, so I’m going to get right into the tag from here, and not dwell any longer on my little mix up!!

My 2 year blogiversary: things I’ve learned, and how my blog has changed!

Today is a very special day, for me, and for Book Nook Bits, because today, August 21st, my blog turns two years old!! I can’t believe that I’ve been blogging for two years now; I’ve changed so much since I first decided to start my blog. It was the summer before seventh grade, before COVID, before so much. Now, I start high school in a couple weeks, and I feel like I’m a completely different person.

For this post, I wanted to look at some of my older posts and see how my blogging has changed. I’m also going to reflect on a few things I’ve learned, that I wish I’d known when I started blogging. So, I’m going to get right into the post!

Let’s Talk Bookish: Books I will always recommend

Hello, and happy Friday! Today, I have a sort of more general recommendations post with twelve books that I will always recommend. The official topic for this week is one book everyone should read, but I couldn’t pick just one so I went with a bunch! Everyone also has very different reading preferences, but hopefully everyone should be able to find a book that interests them from this list! I have adult high fantasy and middle-grade dystopian, fascinating retellings, and romantic contemporaries. Plus, of course a few historical fantasies, and more. I tried to put a little of everything here, and I hope you like the list!

Let’s Talk Bookish is a weekly discussion post created by Rukky @ Eternity Books and is hosted by Rukky and Dani @ A Literary Lion! This week’s topic is what is one book everyone should read? suggested by Mikaela @ Mikaela Reads

My Sinclair Prep reading list: dark academia books I want to read

Hello!! Today, I have a post that I’m so excited to share with you all! If you didn’t know, for the past few months I’ve been able to be on the street team for How We Fall Apart, by Katie Zhao, which comes out tomorrow. I’ve had weekly tasks to do for it, but because a lot of them have been picture and video based I’ve done a lot on my instagram. I actually suggested last week’s task, which was to do your Sinclair Prep reading list. So, even though it’s a bit late, I’m so excited to share my Sinclair Prep reading list, aka dark academia books on my TBR that I can’t wait to read!!

Sinclair Prep is the elite boarding school that How We Fall Apart is set at! I was able to recently read an advance copy of How We Fall Apart, and loved it. Reading HWFA has made me even more excited to read all of these books. Before I get into the post will be the information on HWFA, and then I’ll get into the books on my TBR!!

I hope you enjoy this post, and you find some books to add to your TBR! And one of the books doesn’t come out for another year, but I’m so excited for it that I had to put it here, and I’ll definitely be reading it when it comes out.
