Hello, and happy Monday! Because today is Valentines day, I thought that it would be fun to share a list of fifteen YA romance books I love! Anyways, I don’t have much else to say in this introduction, so I’m going to get right into the list of books!

Our Violent Ends, by Chloe Gong | a spoiler free review for the finale to this amazing duology

Hello! I hope you’ve all had lovely weekends. My weekend was pretty good. I went to a pumpkin patch with some friends this afternoon, and it ended up raining really hard, but it was so much fun! I only have a four day week at school because it’s a grading day, which is really nice, so I’m at least looking forwards to that!

Anyways, I’m really excited for today’s review: it’s for one of my favorite books, and one of my most anticipated releases of this year: Our Violent Ends, by Chloe Gong, the finale to the These Violent Delights duology!

These Violent Delights is a historical fantasy set in 1920’s Shanghai, about the heirs to two gangs, the Scarlets and the White Flowers, who despite a blood feud going back must work together to stop a dangerous monster tearing through the city, infecting people and causing them to rip out their very own throats.

It’s an incredible book, so when I received an advance copy from the publisher I was ecstatic. So, without further ado, I’m going to dive right into my review for this amazing historical fantasy.

Let’s Talk Bookish: Books I will always recommend

Hello, and happy Friday! Today, I have a sort of more general recommendations post with twelve books that I will always recommend. The official topic for this week is one book everyone should read, but I couldn’t pick just one so I went with a bunch! Everyone also has very different reading preferences, but hopefully everyone should be able to find a book that interests them from this list! I have adult high fantasy and middle-grade dystopian, fascinating retellings, and romantic contemporaries. Plus, of course a few historical fantasies, and more. I tried to put a little of everything here, and I hope you like the list!

WWW Wednesday 52

And it is… the new year. And my 52nd WWW Wednesday post. (and that is an especially fun number to hit for my first www wednesday of the year.)

It’s kind of scary and crazy and really not good what is happening at the capitol right now, and everything that happened, so to anyone who was hoping that 2021 would be much better… just look at how we’re starting out.

I have been able to get some reading done, which has been nice. So, here is my update for my current reading situation!

WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Sam @ Taking On a World of Words, and how it works is each week I answer three questions about my the books I’ve read, finished reading and want to read next.
