Writing update: a 2021 writing wrap up

Hello, and happy Monday! It snowed where I live, which is really fun because it almost never snows here, and hasn’t in a few years! Anyways, I thought that today it would be fun to do a little wrap up of all of the writing I did this year. It was really cool to look back on all the writing I did this year, and I’m really happy with how much I was able to do. I think that I really grew as a writer, and learned a lot more about myself and my writing. So here we go into a wrap up of all the writing I did in 2021!

WWW Wednesday 67

Hello, and happy Wednesday! I don’t have much to say here for my introduction; I’ve been really low energy these past couple days, but I did want to do this quick reading update because I’ve been able to read a ton since its winter break. So, here’s my current reading situation!

WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Sam @ Taking On a World of Words, and how it works is each week I answer three questions about my the books I’ve read, finished reading and want to read next.

22 books I want to read in 2022

Hello! I hope that you’ve all had a good weekend. I felt pretty sick today, and didn’t do much, but I did work on putting together this list! I thought that as we’re approaching the new year, it would be fun to make a list of 22 books to read in 2021. I wanted to try and have a pretty wide range of books here, from some middle grades, a handful of fantasy, and even a nonfiction book.

This is also my second year making a list like this. I didn’t do so well on the list I made last year, even though it was a lot fewer books. Out of the 12 that I said I wanted to read in 2021, I only read five. I did discover some new favorites though! I am hoping to do a lot better with the list I’m making for this year.

WWW Wednesday 66

Hello, and happy Wednesday! Today was a long day for me at school, but I had time to do a lot this afternoon once I got home. I have a ton of stuff that I’m preparing for the end of the year, and I have lots of fun end of year blog posts for the next month. Anyways, today I have a regular WWW Wednesday post, so here is my weekly reading update!

WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Sam @ Taking On a World of Words, and how it works is each week I answer three questions about my the books I’ve read, finished reading and want to read next.

Bloody Spade, by Brittany M Willows | spoiler free review

Hello! This morning, I had a two-hour delay for school because it was really icy. Where I live, we hardly ever get snow and seem to be incapable of handling the slightest bits of cold. It was really nice to have the extra time, though, and I was able to read a bunch. I even finished reading Bloody Spade, by Brittany M. Willows! It took me a little while to completely finish reading Bloody Spade, but I really enjoyed it, and I’m excited to share my review of the book with you all today!

Writing update: my nanowrimo wrap up

Hello! I hope that you’re all having a good start to your week. This is my last week of school until winter break, and I’m so excited for that! My ballet performance was on Saturday, and we did the Nutcracker. It was really fun, but it was definitely exhausting and I’m glad to have a break. Because I don’t have dance after school any days this week, I’m going to have a lot more time for blogging, which is nice.

Anyways, I’m really excited for tonight’s post, even though it is coming almost halfway through December. As you may know from my previous posts, I did Nanowrimo this November. Nanowrimo stands for National Novel Writing Month, and it’s when you try to write a novel in a month. This was my second November participating, and I had a really great time. I’m very excited to talk about what I ended up doing, and overall how the month went for me!

Hello, and happy Friday! Today was a really busy day for me, but I’m really excited for this post. This LTB topic is actually from a few weeks ago, but I didn’t have a chance to do it then, so I wanted to circle back to do this one today! I had a lot of fun writing this post, and I hope that you like reading it. So, here are all my thoughts on keeping up with new releases!

Let’s Talk Bookish is a weekly discussion post created by Rukky @ Eternity Books and is hosted by Rukky and Dani @ A Literary Lion! This week’s topic is about illustrations in books, but I’m going with Do you keep up with new releases? (suggested by Pippin @ The Pigeon) for today!
