WWW Wednesday 66

Hello, and happy Wednesday! Today was a long day for me at school, but I had time to do a lot this afternoon once I got home. I have a ton of stuff that I’m preparing for the end of the year, and I have lots of fun end of year blog posts for the next month. Anyways, today I have a regular WWW Wednesday post, so here is my weekly reading update!

WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Sam @ Taking On a World of Words, and how it works is each week I answer three questions about my the books I’ve read, finished reading and want to read next.

What are you currently reading?

I am currently reading Aria’s Traveling Bookshop, by Rebecca Raisin and The Gilded Wolves, by Roshani Chokshi.

I was hoping to finish one, or both of these in the last week, but I wasn’t able to. I did make a lot of progress on both of the books, however. I got a large chunk of the way through The Gilded Wolves, and also read a bunch more of Aria’s Traveling Bookshop. I’m loving my reread of The Gilded Wolves, as usual, although I’m not liking Aria’s Traveling Bookshop so much. The writing isn’t very good, and the plot is pretty boring. I’m really close to finishing it though, and I’ll be able to review it soon.

What did you recently finish reading?

This past week, I finished reading one book, Bloody Spade, by Brittany M. Willows. It took me a while to get through, but overall I really liked reading it! You can read my full review of the book here.

What do you think you’ll read next?

Next, I want to read Daughter of the Deep, by Rick Riordan, Heartstopper Volume 3, by Alice Oseman and The Matzah Ball, by Jean Meltzer.

These three are the same three that I put last week. I wasn’t able to get to any of them because I was more focused on finishing the other books I’m currently reading, but I’m really hoping that I’ll be able to read them all next week. I’m pretty confident that I’ll be able to read all three in the next week because starting Friday, I’m on winter break! I’m really excited to have more time to read through the end of the year.
