Hi!! I haven’t done a writing update post in a very long time, but I wanted to do one now, to set my goals for camp nanowrimo. Nanowrimo stands for national novel writing month, and camp nanowrimo is a smaller event that takes place in July and April. Why you should read The Henna Wars, by Adiba Jaigirdar
Hi!! I went camping with my family and some friends for a few days over the weekend, which was really fun. It was pretty foggy, and a little rainy for a lot of it, but I still had a really good time. It’s nice to be back home though, and I have a post that I’m very excited for today!
When I first read The Henna Wars, over a year ago, it immediately became one of my favorite books! The Henna Wars has amazing LGBTQ+ representation, and because it’s pride month, I thought I’d write a post on why I think you should read The Henna Wars, by Adiba Jaigirdar.

Hello, and happy Friday!! I haven’t posted all week, but I’ve had a lot going on. Thursday was my last day of 8th grade, and it was graduation which means that I am completely done with middle school! I’m really excited, and also kind of nervous because I’ll be starting high school in the fall. I am really excited for summer though, and I’ll hopefully be able to do more blogging without school getting in the way!!

Hello! Today, I have a post I’ve been working on for a while! Here, I have nine books by Asian authors that I loved reading, and will always recommend to people. I’ve read most of these in the last year, as I’ve been trying to read more diverse books, and I’ve discovered many amazing books and authors. Because it’s Pride month, I also wanted to include books with LGBTQ+ representation, and I’ve marked those with a rainbow! 🌈
And, with that, I’m going to get right into the post!

Hello!! I haven’t posted in a week, because I kept wanting to do something fun for this post, because it’s my 300th post!! I can’t believe that I have been blogging long enough to have written 300 entire posts, and I am so excited about it. I’m going to finish 8th grade in a couple weeks (which means I’ll start high school in the fall, which I’m not at all ready for), and I’m really excited for summer. There are a ton of amazing books coming out in June, and I am incredibly lucky to have been able to read an advance copy of one, Instructions for Dancing, by Nicola Yoon.
