Hello, and happy Monday! Today is my 16th birthday, and I had a really fun day! I’m so busy right now with school that I wasn’t able to do a huge thing, but I do have some fun stuff planned. So, let’s get into today’s post!

This past year has had some really amazing moments, and some not so amazing ones. It’s been hard to find time to read, and even harder to find time to blog, and I’m always trying to figure out how to balance all of this with school and dance and everything else I have going on.

Anyways, I thought that for my 16th birthday, I’d share some pictures of my reading from over the years. I’ve always loved books, and luckily, I’ve got lots of pictures of me reading (or at least pretending to read!)

Some books I read (and loved) while I was 15:

I read so many amazing books in the last year, and these are some of my favorites!

I read a ton of amazing historical fiction, like The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo, and Last Night at the Telegraph Club. And, I’ve read some historical fantasy like The Night Circus, which was beautiful, mystical and haunting!

I also read more graphic novels and comics, including Heartstopper and Ms. Marvel, both of which also have fantastic shows which you should also go check out!

And of course, I read lots of fantastic contemporaries. The One True Me and You was one of the most adorable books I’ve read, and When You Get the Chance was everything that I’ve come to expect from Emma Lord’s writing.
