Hello, and happy December! It’s almost the end of 2022, which is pretty crazy. A lot has happened in the last year, and it feels like it’s gone by really fast. I have a lot of plans for December, with reading, blogging, and writing, and I’m excited to talk about all of those in this post. So, here’s a short wrap up of October and November, along with my goals for this December!

In October and November I read three books:

I only read 3 books, which really isn’t a lot for me. Plus, two of them were assigned reading in school, which goes to show how little time I’ve really had recently.
Of the three, Frankenstein was definitely my favorite. I read it for English, and it was one of the rare assigned books I’ve actually enjoyed.
I didn’t love Sula, and I really didn’t enjoy having to read it through school. I got Ship Breaker from the library, and it was good, but not excellent. It is a series, and I might pick up the sequels at some point, but I’m not sure if I really want to spend time on that.

These are 8 books that I want to read in December, and hopefully I’ll be able to get to all of them! Or at least most of them.
I lowered my reading goal to 65 books, and I’m currently at 60. That means that I’m just 5 books away from meeting my goal!

I have a lot of posting goals for December. I have some LTB posts, a few reviews, and some wrap up posts for the year planned, and I’m going to do my best to get all of them out on time. I’ll also hopefully be able to schedule some of the posts in advance, so that I’m not rushing to get them completed at the last minute.

Nanowrimo gave me a lot of motivation for writing, so I’m going to try and keep up with writing all through December. I am going to go back to an older project of mine, a high fantasy that I haven’t worked on as much recently.
I always love writing this one, and I really want to work on finishing a first draft in the next couple months.

What are some of your goals for December? Have you read any good books recently? Chat with me in the comments below!

I hope you reach all of your goals this month, Aria!
