2025 Bookish Resolutions

Happy New Year!!! I can’t believe that it’s already 2025, and I’m both excited and nervous for the new year. I know that 2025 is going to have a lot of changes, since I’ll be starting college and moving away from home. Those are changes that I’m excited for, however, and I know that whatever happens, I’ll be reading and writing a lot — especially since I’m most likely going to be an English major, and will definitely be continuing with blogging, journalism, and all sorts of writing in college! (December) 2024 Bookish Resolutions

This is my fifth year doing my bookish resolutions, just this time, they’re way later than usual. I’ve set reading, writing, and blogging goals every year since I started blogging, but I just kept putting off my 2024 resolutions. It’s the first day of December, and I figured I might as well do some resolutions for the last month of 2024, as we get closer to the new year. Let’s Talk Bookish: Writing as a Reader

The last week has been full of book adaptation news some good, some bad. I saw The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes movie this weekend, and it was amazing! I went with some friends who also love the book, and I had a great time. I thought that it was a fantastic adaptation, and the story was done so well.

I’m also so sad that Shadow of Bone was cancelled, and I’m really hoping that it somehow gets saved!! The show has been so incredible for the last few seasons, and its so devastating that Netflix cancelled it. And then there’s also just one month left until the Percy Jackson show! I’ve been waiting for it for so long, and I can’t wait to watch it.

Anyways, this is all very unrelated from this week’s LTB topic, which is all about writing as a reader. So, let’s get into the post!
