The Bronzed Beasts, by Roshani Chokshi | a fanastic conclusion to an amazing series

Hello, and welcome to the review of my most anticipated releast of 2021! The Bronzed Beasts is the conclusion to The Gilded Wolves trilogy, a historical fantasy series that I’ve been following for a very long time. I first read The Gilded Wolves at the beginning of 2020, then eagerly awaited The Silvered Serpents, and painfully waited for The Bronzed Beasts. I ended up miraculously winning a goodreads giveaway for The Bronzed Beasts, which is how I ended up with the advance copy I’m going to be reviewing today!

This review, like all of mine, will be fully spoiler free for all the books in the trilogy, so without further ado, let’s get into the review!

Five Reasons Why You Should Read Aru Shah and the End of Time, by Roshani Chokshi

So I started writing this post in October, and kind of forgot about it until I was digging through my drafts and realized that I’d actually written most of it!

I haven’t ever done a post like this, but I’ve wanted to for a while. Hopefully I’ll have more recommendation posts, and lists like this of why you should read certain books.

Anyways, Aru Shah and the End of Time is the first in the five book Pandava series by Roshani Chokshi, published through the Rick Riordan Presents imprint. Roshani Chokshi is also the author of the Star-Touched Queen series, and the Gilded Wolves trilogy. The fourth book of the Pandava series, Aru Shah and the City of Gold comes out in just a couple days, and I am so excited! Anyways, here are five reasons why you should read Aru Shah and the End of Time, by Roshani Chokshi.

The Silvered Serpents, by Roshani Chokshi | a spoiler free review

The Silvered Serpents, by Roshani Chokshi, is a truly terrifying book. It is a reminder that books have the power to tear us apart inside, to break our hearts into a million pieces. It is also a reminder that books have the power to make us feel warm and happy, to give us characters that we can’t help but feel the need to protect.

All in all, The Silvered Serpents, by Roshani Chokshi is a masterpiece.

Top Ten Tuesday: Books on my TBR I predict will be 5 star reads

Hello, and happy Tuesday! Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by Jana @ That Artsy Reader Girl, and how it works is each week there is a topic and you make a list of your top 5, 10 or whatever number of books that fit that topic. This week’s topic is books on my TBR (to be read) that I predict will be 5 star reads! I’m going to keep this pretty quick, and only do a few books though, so let’s get right to it!

1 The Silvered Serpents, by Roshani Chokshi

I just finished the Gilded Wolves and it is AMAZING! I have no idea how I’m going to wait until September 22 for this book to come out! I absolutely loved the Gilded Wolves; the writing, the plot, the characters, even the cover is enough to get anyone interested! Anyways, I loved Roshani Chokshi’s style of writing, and I cannot wait to read more of her books, and I loved the history blended with the magic in the Gilded Wolves, so as the Silvered Serpents is in the same universe, I can’t wait!

2 To Kill a Mockingbird, by Harper Lee

I’m actually holding off on reading this until next year, because we read it in school, but I’m really excited to read this classic!

3 Pride and Prejudice, by Jane Austen

My great aunt recently gave me a copy of this, and I just really want to read it and I think I’ll really enjoy it!

Anyways, I’m going to wrap this up with only four books. It’s been freezing where I live, (it was 28 degrees this morning) and I really hope that it snows, because even though it only actually snow every few years in where I live, it always so fun when it does! So I really really hope snows!

What are some books that you predict will be five star reads? Have you read any of the books I mentioned? Does it snow where you live? Do you enjoy the snow? Chat with me in the comments below!

Happy reading!
