Hello, and happy Friday! Today was my school’s homecoming, which was pretty fun. Because of covid, we couldn’t have a dance so instead it was a carnival. I volunteered for a little bit at the Amnesty International club’s booth, and I had fun with that. I met up with a friend, and we wandered for a little bit. Anyways, I’m excited to get into this week’s LTB topic, which will be me talking all about book characters and what makes me like them!

Hello, and happy Friday! Today I had two tests in school, which was kind of stressful, but after school I had my drivers permit test, and I passed!! I was really nervous about it, but I passed and now I can learn to drive! I’m really really excited about that.

Hello, and happy Friday! Today I didn’t have school which was really nice, and I did a small birthday thing with some friends, and I had a really good time with that!! I also read a fair amount this morning, and finished reading One of Us is Next, by Karen M. McManus. It was really good, and in my opinion much better than the first book in the series.

Hello, and happy Friday! I haven’t had too much happen this week: just little bit of reading, and a lot of school work. I’m really excited for the weekend! I have dance for a lot of tomorrow, from 10-2:30, but after that I’ll hopefully get some writing done (maybe nano prep, but I’m not sure) and I’m going to try and schedule some blog posts. Anyways, I’m actually really excited for this week’s prompt: I think that I’ll have a lot of thoughts on this weeks LTB topic!

Let’s Talk Bookish: Prologues and Epilogues

Hello, and happy Friday!! This week’s been really busy, as my second full week of the school year, but overall it’s been pretty good. I’ve read an okay amount, though I’ll hopefully have more time to over the weekend. Today I actually had my library volunteer orientation, which was so exciting! I also went to my high school’s writing club today at lunch. This was the second meeting, and it was so fun!! We had a prompt and wrote short stories, and I really like how mine turned out. I might try sharing it, or one of my other short stories here sometime. I wrote a lot over the summer, a few that I’m pretty proud of!!

Anyways, this week’s LTB topic is a choose your own adventure, so I decided to go back to a pretty old topic, one that I started to write back in July, and then just let sit in my drafts for a couple months. The topic I’m going to be doing today is: prologues vs. epilogues: are they necessary? (suggested by Fives @ Down the Rabbit Hole))

Hello, and happy Friday! Today, I’m going back to an old topic I missed for this post: What makes a book a five star read? I wrote most of this post back in July when it was supposed to have come out, but I never finished it. So, it sat around in my drafts until today, when I didn’t have the time for a full post but really really wanted to publish one! (This is literally the smartest thing I’ve ever done in my blogging career, and I honestly should do it more. Having mostly finished posts for days I’ve planned to post and just don’t have the time.) Let’s Talk Bookish: Keeping books safe

Hello, and happy Friday!! It’s only been two days since my last post, but a lot has happened: I started high school! My orientation and walk through of classes was on Thursday, and today was my first full day. I didn’t do much, mostly just getting to know teachers, and getting a syllabus for each class, but I think it went pretty well!

The school is so much bigger than my middle school though, and it’s very easy to get lost. I think that I’m sort of getting the hang of everything though (I hope!!).
