Welcome to my blog, or hello if you’ve been here before! I am Aria and I read. Quite a bit. I don’t usually introduce myself at the beginning of posts, but since I feel like it today, here we are! I’m 13, almost 14 years old, and on this blog, you can find lots of bookish posts, like this one, my 41st WWW Wednesday.
WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Sam @ Taking On a World of Words, and how it works is each week I answer three questions about my the books I’ve read, finished reading and want to read next. So here is my current reading situation. I have a lot to say, because I read a few, well, actually one important and highly anticipated book in the last week.
The three Ws:
- What are you currently reading?
- What did you recently finish reading?
- What do you think you’ll read next?
What are you currently reading?
I am currently reading Aru Shah and the End of Time, by Roshani Chokshi. That’s right. Only one. But this is a book that I am LOVING, and one that I was excited for for multiple reason.
The first reason is that it is by Roshani Chokshi. Roshani Chokshi is one of my favorite authors, however I’ve only read two of her books. The Gilded Wolves, and The Silvered Serpents (my review of TSS).
What did you recently finish reading?
In the last week I finished reading six books: The Sword Thief, by Peter Lerangis, and the entire Trials of Apollo series, by Rick Riordan. Yep, the whole thing. Including The Tower of Nero, the fifth and final book in the series, which came out on October 6th.
And that book was amazing, intense, and I had quite a few emotions while reading it. It was kind of sad, because it’s probably the last of the camp Half-Blood chronicles, but I loved reading it so much. The whole book, the characters, the Arrow of Dodona, everything. And Will and Nico’s roles were so amazing!!
If you want to see all the books I’ve read so far this year, check out my Goodreads, where I (mostly) keep up with all the books I read.
What do you think you’ll read next?
These are three books pretty much at the top of my TBR, although there are a few others that I’m also hoping to get to this month. I am so excited to read Darius the Great is Not Okay, because I have heard the most wonderful things about it, and Everything All at Once looks amazing as well. Circe has lots of mythology in it, and I love mythology books? Is that a genre? Anyways, I’m SO excited for Circe as well.
Have you read any of the books I mentioned? What are you currently reading? Chat with me in the comments below!
I voted for Circe, because I loved that book, it’s SO powerful, a bit heavy to read, but I think it is worth it, so I hope you like it a lot, I can’t wait to hear your thoughts on it ❤️❤️❤️

Aru Shah was really good! I liked it. I started on the Trials of Apollo series, but I quit on the second book T^T I really want to read Circe! I also heard that the Song of Achilles by Madeline Miller is also really good. Love this post!

It’s so fun! And Trials of Apollo is very different from the other series, but I loved it. I’ve heard the most wonderful things about Song of Achilles as well. I’m so glad!

I haven’t read the Apollo series yet but noooo! Don’t tell me that it’s gonna be over with Camp Halfblood? Nooooo! That just can’t be. (I mean obviously it can and I wouldn’t like it if the quality would go down either. But I’m still sad.) Can’t wait to read them but I have to finish Heroes of Olympus first. 🙂

Heroes of Olympus and Trials of Apollo are both sooooo good!!! And Rick has hinted at a possible standalone about Nico, so maybe we can look forward to that?
