My 5 year blogiversary! Reflections on half a decade of book blogging

It’s August 21st, which means that today, Book Nook Bits turns 5! I can’t believe that it’s been five whole years since I started this blog, and I can’t imagine what my life would be like without the book community.

I started this blog when I was 12, and I’ve learned so much since then. In the last five years, I’ve have been able to do so many amazing things through this blog. For this post, I thought I’d talk about some of my blogging highlights from the past few years, and what I’ve learned along the way!

It’s the end of summer, and as of August 21st, I’ve been blogging for four years.

I started my blog on August 21st, 2019, which means that a few weeks ago, Book Nook Bits turned four! I can’t believe that it’s been so long since I started this blog, and how much I’ve done since then.

My 3 year blogiversary: 10 books and authors that sum up my years of blogging

Hello, and happy Sunday! Three years ago today I published my very first blog post, and I never expected how much I would end up doing with Book Nook Bits. I’ve made blogging friends from all over the world, and I’ve gotten to be a part of an incredible community.

Over the last three years, I have read hundreds of books, and discovered tons of new authors. Today, I picked ten books and authors that have all made a huge impact on my life, and I’ve written about what they all mean to me!

My 2 year blogiversary: things I’ve learned, and how my blog has changed!

Today is a very special day, for me, and for Book Nook Bits, because today, August 21st, my blog turns two years old!! I can’t believe that I’ve been blogging for two years now; I’ve changed so much since I first decided to start my blog. It was the summer before seventh grade, before COVID, before so much. Now, I start high school in a couple weeks, and I feel like I’m a completely different person.

For this post, I wanted to look at some of my older posts and see how my blogging has changed. I’m also going to reflect on a few things I’ve learned, that I wish I’d known when I started blogging. So, I’m going to get right into the post!

1 year blogiversary! | how my blog has changed, and a few things I’ve learned along the way

It’s Friday, and today, my book blog, turns one year old! I wanted to do something fun for it, so I decided to write a little about how my blog has changed, a few things that I’ve learned about blogging, and that’s about it! I can’t believe that it’s been an entire year, and I’m so happy with where I’ve gotten to with my blog. According to WordPress, over the past 12 months, I’ve written 185 blog posts, about all sorts of topics, my blog has had 6,609 views, and 170 people has followed my blog.

But that isn’t what makes me the most happy; because those are really just numbers. I’ve made so many friends, and I’ve discovered a whole new community of other people who love books.

So, without further ado, here is my story of my blog!
