Let’s Talk Bookish: Required Reading

Hello! This post is a few days late, but I’m very excited for this topic. I’ve had to read a lot of books for school, and while I’ve enjoyed some, I’ve definitely disliked others. So, here are my thoughts on required reading in schools, and the varying results of the most common ways required reading is used in classes.

Hello, and happy April! I’m visiting some family in Arizona right now, and we went on a hike today – we saw lots of cacti, and tons of cool rocks, which was very fun!! Today is also the first day of camp nanowrimo, which I didn’t really remember to prepare for. So, that’ll be fun, but also a little last minute to get right into! My plan is to finish a complete draft of the fantasy book I’ve been working on for the last couple years, and I’m really excited to dive back into the project. Hello, and happy Friday! Season 2 of Shadow and Bone came out yesterday, and I finished watching it this afternoon. It was AMAZING, and I really loved all of it! I think it was really interesting how they’re taking lots from the books, but also making it it’s own story, and I’m really really hoping for a season 3! I’ll probably do some sort of Shadow and Bone related post because I have lots to say about the season, but today, I have this week’s LTB post, which is all about spring books!
