Hello, and happy Monday! It was really rainy today, which was fun, and I was able to get a lot of writing done! I had a lot of fun putting together the list for the April Let’s Talk Bookish topics, and I’m excited to share them all today. There are a few suggestions, one of my own topics, and an old topic that I thought would be fun to bring back! So, here are the April LTB topics!
Let’s Talk Bookish is a bookish meme that was created by Rukky @ Eternity Books where each Friday, bloggers write posts discussing the topic of the week. Since April 2022, I’ve been the host of LTB, and I post each month’s topics here on my blog!
I also have an archive of the topics on my blog, which you can find in the menu of my blog! My archive has the topics from April 2022 and all months going forwards, and all previous topics can be found on Rukky’s blog.

Thank you so much to Laura and the Bageler for suggesting our topics for April! If you’d like to suggest a topic, you can do so using the Google Form linked at the end of this post.

April 7: Comics! (The Bageler @ It’s the Bageler)
Prompts: This week’s topic is all about comics! Different from graphic novels, which are usually released as a whole and longer book, comics are released in multiple, shorter, parts. Do you read comics? If you do, what are some of your favorites? If you don’t, why not? How do they compare to novels, graphic novels, or audiobooks?
April 14: Required Reading (Old LTB Topic)
Prompts: This week, we’re bringing back an old LTB topic from a few years ago: Required reading. How do you feel about required reading? Do you think it is unfair and boring? Or do you think it helps students become better readers? What kinds of books do you think should be required reading, and what should classes avoid? Is it a good way of getting students to read old classics?
The original LTB post is here: https://eternitybooksreview.wordpress.com/2020/01/31/lets-talk-bookish-required-reading/
April 21: Buying More Books than You Can Read (Laura @ Life Love Read)
Prompts: Do you buy a lot of books? Do you read all of the books you buy right away? Or do you buy more books than you can read? How do you choose which books you buy?
April 28: All About Acronyms (Me – Aria)
Prompts: TBR, DNF, ARC, YA… the list of bookish acronyms goes on. What are some acronyms you think readers and book bloggers should be aware of? Were you ever confused about acronyms when you started blogging?

Even if you don’t participate by writing LTB discussions, if you have any suggestions or ideas for topics, so you can share your ideas using the google form below!
