Hi there! I am finally now reading non-OBOB books. The reason is sad though, the state competition was canceled because of the coronavirus. So was basically everything else, including school which has been canceled for me the 28th. Of April. The one good side to that however is that I am having a lot of time to read and to write, so that is good great amazingly fantastic. Anyways, here is my weekly reading update, WWW Wednesday! Hello and happy Wednesday, everybody! Tonight has been pretty crazy for me, and I have a french grammar test tomorrow, but right now is time for WWW Wednesday! WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Sam @ Taking On a World of Words, and how it works is each week I answer three questions:

- What are you currently reading?
- What did you recently finish reading?
- What do you think you’ll read next?
What are you currently reading?
I am currently reading The School for Good and Evil, by Soman Chainani and The Teacher’s Funeral, by Richard Peck.

What did you recently finish reading?
I recently reread It Ain’t So Awful, Falafel, by Firoozeh Dumas, the Novice, by Taran Matharu and Things Not Seen, by Andrew Clements. I also finally finished Crooked Kindom, by Leigh Bardugo which was so so so so sad, but incredibly written.
If you want to see all the books I’ve read so far this year, check out my Goodreads, where I (mostly) keep up with all the books I read.

What do you think you’ll read next?
Next, I really want to reread both The List, by Patricia Forde and Frogkisser, by Garth Nix.

*I also was experimenting with a different style of featured image in this post and the last one, so I’d love to hear what you think about that. I’m also going to be experimenting with redoing my blog’s graphics, keeping them kind of similar, but a little different? I’ll figure it out. But anyways, that should be happening in the next couple of days.

What are you currently reading? What do you think about my blog’s old graphics vs the new ones I’m trying out? Chat with me in the comments below! I’d love to hear your opinion!
Happy Reading,
Aria

Hello, and happy Wednesday! Today was the semi-final of OBOB, which is a reading competition that I’m participating in, and I won the battle so tomorrow I will be in the final which is very exciting, but also stressful because I’m the spokesperson and I will have to speak in front of everyone who shows up. (That’s 6th, 7th and 8th graders plus teachers and so yeah, it’s a lot.) Today was also my last day of algebra finals, which I’m glad to be done with!

Anyways… Right now, it’s time for my weekly reading update, WWW Wednesday! WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Sam @ Taking On a World of Words, and how it works is each week I answer three questions:

What do you think you’ll read next?
Next, I think I’ll read Black Radishes, by Susan Lynn Meyer, reread It Ain’t So Awful, Falafel, by Firoozeh Dumas, and The Teacher’s Funeral, by Richard Peck! I’m keeping my weekly TBR the exact same because I didn’t actually get to any of the books above!

I am currently reading Six of Crows, by Leigh Bardugo, Frogkisser, by Garth Nix, and Shabanu, by Suzanne Fisher Staples. I am rereading Frogkisser, and I really like it. And I am FINALLY reading Six of Crows. I have seen and heard so many amazing things about this book, and I’m finally getting to it! I’m not that far into it, but so far I’m really liking it, and I’ll see how it turns out! I’m still reading Shabanu, as it is a book I’m reading for school. I really did not enjoy it at the beginning, and now that I’m farther into it, I’m liking it a little bit more. It is however, very suspenseful now that I’ve finished the section and am not allowed to read past it, but tomorrow after we discuss it in class I’ll be able to finish it, so I’m definitely looking forwards to that.

I recently finished rereading The Teacher’s Funeral, by Richard Peck, The List, by Patricia Forde, and House Arrest, by K. A. Holt.

What do you think you’ll read next?

Hello! I just started reading a book called Shabanu in school, and I don’t know if I’m going to like it or not, so here is my weekly reading update, WWW Wednesday. WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Sam @ Taking On a World of Words, and how it works is each week I answer three questions:
- What are you currently reading?

- What do you think you’ll read next?
What are you currently reading?
I am currently reading The Astonishing Life of Octavian Nothing: Volume 1, The Pox Party, by M. T. Anderson, which is taking a while to get through, but I am enjoying it more as I am getting through it. I am also currently rereading House Arrest, by K. A. Holt. In school, I started reading Shabanu, Daughter of the Wind, by Suzanne Fisher Staples. It will most likely take me a while to get through this book, as usually reading books in school goes painfully slowly, but it looks like a pretty good book, so I’ll see how that turns out! I am also listening to The School for Good and Evil, by Soman Chainani, and the woman who is the reader for this audiobooks is fantastic, so I’m enjoying that as well.

What did you recently finish reading?
I recently finished reading Port Chicago 50, by Steve Sheinkin, and The Girl Who Drank the Moon, by Kelly Barnhill.

What do you think you’ll read next?
Next, I think I’ll read The Blackthorn Key, by Kevin Sands, and Six of Crows, by Leigh Bardugo. I will be rereading The Blackthorn Key, so I know I’ll enjoy that one! I am very excited to read Six of Crows, because I have seen and heard amazing things about that book. I also want to reread The Teacher’s Funeral, by Richard Peck.
