WWW Wednesday 91

Hello, and happy Wednesday! I hope you’re having a good week so far. I’ve been doing lots of writing for camp nanowrimo which has been really fun, and I’ve also had time for some reading! I haven’t been doing the WWW Wednesday posts very frequently, but I thought it would be fun to do one this week as a little reading update. So, let’s get into the post!

WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Sam @ Taking On a World of Words, where each week, bloggers answer three questions about the books they’ve read, finished reading and want to read next.

The three Ws:

  • What are you currently reading?
  • What did you recently finish reading?
  • What do you think you’ll read next?

What are you currently reading?

I’m currently reading We’ll Always Have Summer, by Jenny Han, Mr. Midshipman Hornblower, by C. S. Forester and Nocturne, by Alyssa Wees.

We’ll Always Have Summer is the third book and final book in The Summer I Turned Pretty trilogy, and I can’t wait to finish it. Hopefully the love triangle works itself out, or I will be pretty disappointed!

What did you recently finish reading?

The last few books I read were The Summer I Turned Pretty and It’s Not Summer Without You by Jenny Han, and The Sun and the Star by Rick Riordan and Mark Oshiro.

It’s been fun to read The Summer I Turned Pretty, and it’s sequel. The books have a similar style to Jenny Han’s other series, To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before, which I read a few years ago and loved.

I also loved The Sun and the Star, the newest book in the world of Percy Jackson. It’s such an amazing book, and I had so much fun reading it!

Three books that I’m looking forwards to reading are A Day of Fallen Night, by Samantha Shannon, She Who Became the Sun, by Shelley Parker-Chan and The Lies We Tell, by Katie Zhao.

A Day of Fallen Night is the prequel of The Priory of the Orange Tree, one of my very favorite books, and I can’t wait to read it!!

Have you read any of the books I mentioned? What are you currently reading? Chat with me in the comments below!
