Hello, and happy Wednesday! At the beginning of the year I was planning to do WWW Wednesdays ever week, but that didn’t end up happening, especially because I just wasn’t reading very much. I have been getting back to reading a lot more, so I’m going to try and post these every week!!

Earlier today I was also able to go to part of the Pacific Northwest Booksellers Association’s spring pop up event, which was amazing!! I got a ton of of books, and got to meet a ton of authors, and it was an incredible experience!! I’m especially excited to read two of the books I got, which I’ll talk about later!

Anyways, let’s get into this weekly reading update!!

What are you currently reading?

Right now I’m currently reading Thunderhead, by Neal Shusterman, In Myrtle Peril, by Elizabeth C. Bunce and Macbeth!

I decided to reread the Scythe trilogy before I read the prequel, which came out last year. It’s such a great series, and rereading it is reminding me of how much I love the books!

I’m also reading In Myrtle Peril, the fourth book in the Myrtle Hardcastle mystery series. It’s such a fun book, and I’m so excited to be continuing the series!

I’m reading Macbeth in my english class, and it’s really fun. My english teacher is great, and the way we’re going through it is really cool!! I’ve never read any Shakespeare before, and I’m really liking it!

What did you recently finish reading?

Recently, I read Scythe, by Neil Shusterman, volumes 1 – 4 of Heartstopper, and the Heartstopper novella Nick and Charlie, by Alice Oseman.

All of the books were amazing – I was reminded of how much I love the Scythe trilogy, and Heartstopper is always just so much fun to read!!

What do you think you’ll read next?

Next, I want to read The Shadow Sister, by Lily Meade, The Beautiful Something Else, by Ash Van Otterloo and The Only Woman in the Room, by Marie Benedict.

At the book event I went to today, I met the authors of The Shadow Sister and The Beautiful Something Else, and I had such an amazing time getting to meet them. I can’t wait to read both of these books, and I’ll definitely talk about them more here!
