Hello, and happy Wednesday! I’ve had a pretty busy week at school, but it’s a four day week so I’ll at least have a long weekend. I’m also doing Camp Nanowrimo this month, although I haven’t written nearly as much as I’d planned. Anyways, I don’t have much else to write for an intro, so I’m going to get right into my weekly reading update!

What are you currently reading?

I’m still currently reading A Deadly Education, by Naomi Novik, Empire of the Sun, by J. G. Ballard and Under the Udala Tree, by Chinelo Okparanta.

I’ve been really busy with school these past couple weeks, and I haven’t been able to make much progress on any of these. I’m really liking both Under the Udala Trees and A Deadly Education, and I’ll hopefully finish both by next week. I’m also going to try to read some more of Empire of the Sun if I have time.

What did you recently finish reading?

Last week I read four of the Miles Morales spiderman comics. They’re really fun, and I liked them a lot. I got a few more from my school’s library, and I’m excited to get to them too!

What do you think you’ll read next?

Next, I want to read Daisy Jones & the Six, by Taylor Jenkins Reid, The Keeper of the Night, by Kylie Lee Baker and Aru Shah and the Nectar of Immortality.

Aru Shah and the Nectar of Immortality is the fifth and final book in the Aru Shah series, and I’m so so excited for it! It came earlier this month, and I just got my copy of it on Monday. I can’t wait to read it. I’m also so excited for the other two, and if I have time for them, I’ll try to read them!
