My Pride Month TBR!

Hello! I hope that the end of May is going well for you. For me it feels like the year is really flying by, and I can’t believe that it’s already almost June! Because June is Pride month, I have made a list of eleven books with LGBTQ+ characters and representation that I’m planning on reading! A couple are rereads, but most are new to me, although I’ve heard amazing things about every single one. I have a lot of different books, from contemporary to fantasy to even a graphic novel, and I’m going to do my best to read them all in the next month!

The Henna Wars by Adiba Jaigirdar is one of my favorite books, and I’m planning on rereading it in June. I’ve also read The Priory of the Orange Tree by Samantha Shannon twice before, and I’m planning on listening to the audiobook again in June.

I’ve heard really amazing things about Some Girls Do by Jennifer Dugan, and I can’t wait to read it. These Feathered Flames by Alexandra Ovary sounds like a incredible fantasy novel, and so does The Bone Season by Samantha Shannon. I’m really just so excited for every single one of these books!

I’m going to try and do short reviews of each of these books at the end of the month (or at least the ones that I’ve read) and post them here!

I didn’t end up writing a ton for this post, but I can’t wait to read all of these books in June and I had a lot of fun putting together this list of books!

Have you read any of these books? What are some books you love with LGBTQ+ representation? Chat with me in the comments below!
