Hello, and happy March! I’m so happy that we’re getting close to spring – I love winter, but January and February always just feel like such dreary months. And, although March is definitely going to be a pretty busy month for me, I’m excited to also make more time for reading and blogging. Anyways, let’s get into my February wrap up, and my goals for March!

In February I read 5 books.

I’m really happy with how much I read in February – 5 books is one month a lot more than I’ve been reading, and it was really nice!
The Selection books were all rereads, and A Million to One and Amulet of Wishes were new!
I love Adiba Jaigirdar, and I’ve been excited for A Million to One for a very long time. I enjoyed the book, but I didn’t love it as much as I thought I would. I think that I just went into it with high expectations for a different kind of book, and it just wasn’t exactly what I was expecting. It was still a fun story, and I really liked all the characters!
I got a review copy of Amulet of Wishes, and flew through it – it’s a really fun book, and I liked reading it. I’ll have a full review of it coming in the next few days!

I wrote a total of 6 posts in February, and I’m pretty happy with that! I had a few other blogging plans for the month that I wasn’t able to get to, specifically some reviews. I’m definitely going to get those posted this month though!

There are four books that I want to read in March:
She Who Became the Sun, by Shelley Parker-Chan, Ballad & Dagger, by Daniel José Older, Nocturne, by Alyssa Wees and The Stars Between Us, by Cristin Terrill.
I’m really excited for all of them, and I hope that I’ll have time to read all four!

In March, I want to post a few reviews, since I really like writing them, and I have some books to get reviews out for!
I also am going to try and schedule some of my posts in advance, and get them written over the weekend so I don’t have to worry about them when I’m really busy during the week.
And, I’m going to try and post more on my bookstagram, since I haven’t done much of that for a while!

I’m not going to try to do any fiction writing in March, because I know I’m going to be way to busy. However, towards the end of the month I am going to do a little prep for camp nanowrimo, which is in April each year. I’ll try and do more fiction writing then!

Goodluck with your goals this month,
Nocturne & The stars between us have wonderful covers!!
February felt kinda meh for me, especially as i’ve spent the last week being sick.. so hoping March & hopefully the start of spring can help boost me a little here xD

My favourite read in February was a sci fi novel, not surprisingly for me… https://cathysreadingbonanza.wordpress.com/2023/03/02/march-2023-wrap-up/

That’s fun! I don’t read much sci fi, but I usually really like it when I do!
