WWW Wednesday 88

Hello, and happy Wednesday! Today is my first day back at school, and it’s been a pretty long day. Dance is starting back up again this week though, so that is something fun to look forwards to! Anyways, I haven’t done a WWW Wednesday post in a few months, but I’ve been really wanting to get back to these weekly reading updates. So, here’s my first WWW Wednesday of 2023!

WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Sam @ Taking On a World of Words, where each week, bloggers answer three questions about the books they’ve read, finished reading and want to read next.

The three Ws:

  • What are you currently reading?
  • What did you recently finish reading?
  • What do you think you’ll read next?

What are you currently reading?

Right now I’m currently reading The Girl from Guernica, by Karen Robards, and Reader, I Murdered Him, by Betsy Cornwell.

I’m about 45 minutes into The Girl from Guernica audiobook, and it’s pretty good. It’s not amazing, but I feel like it could get a lot better, so I’m going to stick with it. I also really like the narrator!

I’m not too far into Reader, I Murdered Him, and it’s only okay. I’ve been really excited for this one, and the plot seemed amazing, but so far I’m not loving the writing. Hopefully, I’ll like it more as I read more of it!

What did you recently finish reading?

Recently, I read Firekeeper’s Daughter, by Angeline Boulley, Never Ever Getting Back Together, by Sophie Gonzales and Foul Lady Fortune, by Chloe Gong.

All three of these were absolutely amazing, and were perfect for finishing up my reading in 2022! And I cannot wait for the sequel to Foul Lady Fortune, which I think is coming out sometime in 2023!!

Next, I want to read Amulet of Wishes, by Rita A. Rubin, Ballad and Dagger, by Daniel José Older, and My Imaginary Mary, by Cynthia Hand, Brodi Ashton, and Jodi Meadows.

I don’t know how much time I’ll have for reading this week, but I’ll try to get started with at least one of them!

Have you read any of the books I mentioned? What are you currently reading? Chat with me in the comments below!
