December 2022 wrap up and January 2023 goals

Hello, and happy 2023! I can’t believe that it’s already the new year, and it feels like last year went by really quickly. There’s a lot that I’m really excited for this year, and I have lots of plans. So, here is my last wrap up of 2022, and my first set of goals for this year.

In December I read three books:

All three of these books are amazing, and are definitely some of my favorite books I’ve read this year. Although I would have liked to read a few more books in December, I really did love all three of these.

Here are the posts I wrote in December:

I haven’t written a review in months, so it was really nice to write one again, and I had a lot of fun with all the LTB topics!

I probably won’t read all of these in January, but these are the books at the top of my TBR right now! I’m especially excited for Reader, I Murdered Him, by Betsy Cornwell.

I really want to get back to writing more reviews, and I have a few planned for January that I’m excited to write! I also want to work on drafting my posts at least a night in advance, so that I can have more posts scheduled. And, I have a couple more end of the year wrap up posts planned, which will be fun!

I also want to post more on my bookstagram account, which I didn’t do much of last year. It’s something I’ve missed, and I want to get back to it!

I didn’t write much in December, but I’m hoping to find some time to jump back into a fantasy book I’ve been working on in January. My goal is to spend a couple hours writing each weekend, so that I can keep up the habit of it! I never do too much writing in December, since it’s right after a very busy nanowrimo November, but I want to make more time for writing outside of nano months in the new year.

What are some of your goals for the new year? Have you read any good books recently? Chat with me in the comments below!
