My summer wrap up and September goals

Hello, and happy September! It’s been a while since I last did a wrap up post, but I have missed doing them. Since I haven’t done one in a while, I just decided to do all of summer here, instead of just August! It was fun to talk about all the books I read this summer, and what my plans are for September, so I’ll try to start doing these every month again. Anyways, I don’t have much else to say here, so let’s get into my summer wrap up and my goals for September!

In June I read five books:

In July I read one book:

Overall, I didn’t read very much this summer compared to what I normally read, but I really liked the books that I did get to! Daisy Jones and the Six was incredible, and is one of my favorite books of this year!! Taylor Jenkins Reid is such an amazing author, and I really want to read more of her books. The Chaos Walking trilogy, by Patrick Ness, was also amazing! Those three books, the Grace Year, and Shatter Me are all dystopian, though all are very different. The Rose Code was a really cool historical fiction novel, and Off the Record was a great YA contemporary! So overall, I read some pretty great books!

In August I read five books:

Some blog highlights from the last couple of months…

These are 8 books that I really want to read in September, and I’m going to do my best to get to as many as I can!

My goals for posting in September are to schedule, or at least draft, all my posts for each week on the weekends, and then to post each LTB on time every Friday! I also want to post a variety of posts, and not just discussions. I’ll try to do a review or two, and maybe some other stuff as well! I think these are goals that I’ll be able to stick to, even with the start of school & all the chaos that comes with that.

I know that September is going to be really busy for me with starting school and all, so I don’t expect to have a huge amount of time for writing. I am going to try to do a little bit of outlining for the project I plan to write for this year’s Nanowrimo! Hopefully by the end of this month, I’ll have a general outline for the whole thing. I worked on it for a bit today,

  1. The books you read this summer look good. I really enjoyed Born a Crime. I learned a lot and laughed a lot. Trevor Noah’s one of my favorite celebrities.

I hope you’re able to read all of the books you want to in September and that you like them all.

Good luck with juggling school, reading, and blogging! 😀
