Hello!! I’m super excited for all of the topics for August; I think that you all will find them interesting, and I’m excited to see all of your thoughts on them. This August is also going to be the three year anniversary of Let’s Talk Bookish, which is very exciting! LTB has grown so much, and it’s amazing to see how many people participate in the discussions! So, here are the LTB topics for August 2022!
Let’s Talk Bookish is a bookish meme that was created by Rukky @ Eternity Books where each Friday, bloggers write posts discussing the topic of the week! Since the beginning of April, I’ve been the host of LTB, so I post each month’s topics here!
I also have an archive of the topics on my blog, which you can find in the menu! My archive has the topics from April 2022 and all months going forwards, and all previous topics can be found on Rukky’s blog! I haven’t yet uploaded the most recent topics, but I’m going to update the page soon!

Thank you so much to Fives, Rachel and Amber for suggesting our topics for August! If you’d like to share a topic, you can do so using the Google Form at the end of this post.

August 5: All about Ebooks (Fives @ Down the Rabbit Hole)
Prompts: Are ebooks the future of books? What are the advantages and disadvantages of ebooks? Are ebooks strictly better than physical books? Do all avid readers prefer real, paper books? Do you use an e-reader, or read on a phone/tablet? Do you ever find yourself missing one or the other?
August 12: Reviewing Books? (Rachel @ A Bookworm in Paradise)
Prompts: What makes you want to review or not review a book? Do you review every book you read? Are some books harder to review than others? Do you review books you disliked? If you’ve ever written a ranty review, have you regretted doing so afterwards? Do you delete reviews that are “outdated” or don’t follow what you think of the book now?
August 19: Unhauling books (Amber @ Escape Life in the Pages)
Prompts: How do you feel about unhauling books? Do you get rid of books often? Or do you hold on to every book you buy? How do you decide which books to get rid of? Are there any books you would never get rid of?
August 26: Balancing blogging and life (Me-Aria)
Prompts: How do you manage balancing blogging and life? In what ways do school and work get in the way of blogging? Are there any ways that blogging can help with everyday life? Are there certain times of year when blogging becomes harder or more overwhelming?

Even if you don’t participate by writing LTB discussions, if you have any suggestions or ideas for topics, so you can share your ideas using the google form below!

This is such a delightful batch of topics, yay! I did LTB for a while last year before school yoinked my ability to post twice a week, but I’m so excited to be back, at least for the summer. I’m glad it’s found a home with you as host, and happy third anniversary! How exciting!

Thank you!! School definitely makes it so hard to keep up with a blogging schedule; I’ve definitely experience that these last few months!! Again, thank you so much, and I’m happy you’re back!!
