Hello, and happy Wednesday! I’ve been pretty busy this week, but I’ve also managed to fit lots of reading in, which has been really nice. I don’t really have anything else to say in this intro, and I don’t have much time to write it, so I’m going to just get right into my weekly reading update!

What are you currently reading?

I’m currently reading A Deadly Education, by Naomi Novik, Empire of the Sun, by J. G. Ballard and Under the Udala Tree, by Chinelo Okparanta.

I’m reading Under the Udala Trees for school, and I’m actually really liking it so far!! I’m excited to get further, and to see where the story goes. I still haven’t made progress on Empire of the Sun though, but I really do want to finish it. I’ll try to read more this weekend, if I have time. I did read a bit more of A Deadly Education, and it’s so good!! The whole idea of the magic system is so well thought out, and everything about the book is so cool.

What did you recently finish reading?

Last week I read three volumes of the Ms. Marvel comics: Destined, Stormranger, and Outlawed, One False Note, by Gordon Korman, and This May End Badly, by Samantha Markum.

One False Note was a reread, and was entertaining! I really liked the Ms. Marvel comics I read, so that was fun!! This May End Badly was AMAZING and I already know that it’s going to be one of my favorites of the year. I managed to get an early copy of it, so I’ll be sharing my review soon!

What do you think you’ll read next?

Next, I want to read Daisy Jones & the Six, by Taylor Jenkins Reid, The Keeper of the Night, by Kylie Lee Baker and The Sword Thief, by Peter Lerangis.

I’m keeping this list here the same because I really want to get to all of them, and I’ll hopefully make time to!
