March 2022 wrap up and April goals

Hello, and happy Monday! I’m actually pretty excited for this week, and although I know I’m going to be pretty busy with school, I’ve got a lot of blogging and writing plans! And, I might even be able to make some time to read, which would be nice. Anyways, I usually try to get my wrap up posted a few days sooner than this, but it just didn’t happen this weekend. So, I’m just going to get into this post right now!

In March I read 16 books…

  • Three were audiobooks
  • Eight were comics/graphic novels
  • Two were physical books
  • Two were ebooks

I read a lot of books in March, and I really liked most of them! All of the Ms. Marvel comics were so fun, and reading them has made me so excited for the Ms. Marvel show! Supernova was an amazing end to the Renegades trilogy, and The Ogress and the Orphans was a beautiful middle-grade fantasy. Rick was a middle-grade contemporary, and was fantastic. I read The Samurai’s Garden for school, and I thought that it was okay, but not great. On the other hand, I loved The One True Me and You, and it’s definitely become one of my favorite books I read this year! I reread the first two 39 Clues books, and they were as fun as they always are. I do think that the books get better as the series goes on, and the characters become more complex though.

In March I wrote…

In March, I wrote a total of 13 posts, which I’m very happy with! I was able to keep up a good schedule, especially towards the end of the month. This month I also took over as host of Let’s Talk Bookish, which is a pretty big thing for me, and for the blog! I also posted two reviews, which I’m pretty happy with, and I had fun with all of the posts I wrote.

These 8 books are on my TBR for March. I’m currently in the middle of A Deadly Education, by I want to work really hard to finish it this month. All the others I’ve had on my TBR for a long time, and I’m going to do my best to read all of them by the end of April!

I have a list of posts for April, and I’m going to do my best to post all of those posts on time. My biggest goal is to start getting my posts done the night before they’re scheduled to go out. I think that will help me stay better on track with them, and I’ll be able to manage my time better.

This month is Camp Nanowrimo, and so I’m (hopefully) going to do a lot more writing that usual! My goal is to write 25 thousand words this month, which will push me over 50k on my fantasy book. That will get me write on the edge of the end of my first draft, so I’m going to do my best to write as much as I can. That’s my overall plan, but you can read more about what I’m going to be writing here.

How was your March? What are some of your goals for April? Did you read any good books this month? Chat with me in the comments below!

  1. oh, i am glad to hear you enjoyed the one true me and you so much! i really want to read this one! the cover is so stunning and i’m happy to hear the inside content matches the outside.

also let me know how you feel about fire keeper’s daughter! i really want to read that one (again, another case of a stunning cover), but i am scared it might be too triggering.

wishing you a great april & all the luck on camp nanowrimo!
