Hello, and happy Wednesday! I hope that you are all having good weeks so far. I’ve been really busy with school, and have a lot going on right now in my classes. I have had some time to read though, which has been nice. Anyways, here we go into my weekly reading update!
WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Sam @ Taking On a World of Words, and how it works is each week I answer three questions about my the books I’ve read, finished reading and want to read next.

The three Ws:
- What are you currently reading?
- What did you recently finish reading?
- What do you think you’ll read next?
What are you currently reading?

I am currently reading A Torch against the Night, by Sabaa Tahir, The Samurai’s Garden, by Gail Tsukiyama and Renegades, by Marissa Meyer.
I’m almost done with Renegades, and I really really love it!! Nova and Adrian are both such great protagonists, and are so fun to read about. I’m really excited to finish Renegades, and I’m going to probably finish it in the next couple days.
I didn’t finish A Torch Against the Night this week like I wanted to, but I did make some progress on it, which was good. It’s such a good book, and I’m loving how much more we’re getting of Helene in this sequel!! I’m really excited to finish it.
I’m reading The Samurai’s Garden for school, and I’m not sure how I feel about it. The premise seems interesting, but I’m not a fan of the writing style so far. I also know a lot of people who really didn’t like the book for multiple reasons. I also have to take reading quizzes and write two essays on it, which is definitely making me enjoy reading it quite a bit less. Hopefully, it won’t be too bad though!
What did you recently finish reading?

Last week, I read Maus I and Maus II, by Art Spiegelman, and I finished reading Murder is Bad Manners, by Robin Stevens.
Maus is such an incredible book, and it was really amazing to read. Art Spiegelman is such an amazing storyteller and artist, and the books were so beautifully done. I think that everyone should read both volumes of Maus, and it’s so important that the book stays accessible to everyone.
I also finished reading Murder is Bad Manners, and it was really fun! It’s a middle-grade historical murder mystery, and the mystery is written really well. It isn’t a new favorite or anything, but it was entertaining to read.
What do you think you’ll read next?

These three books have been here for way too long, but I really want to read all of them: A Deadly Education, by Naomi Novik, The Keeper of the Night, by Kylie Lee Baker and Empire of the Sun, by J. G. Ballard.
If I can finish A Torch Against the Night by Friday, then I’ll try to pick one or more of these up over the weekend, and hopefully I’ll be able to move these books out of this WWW Wednesday section!!

Have you read any of the books I mentioned? What are you currently reading? Chat with me in the comments below!

I’m glad to hear you’re loving Renegades and A Torch Against the Night! I really enjoyed both of these… and really need to continue with these series ahah 🙂

Thanks for commenting, and sorry for the late response! I still haven’t gotten to the Keeper of the Night, but I’m excited for it, and A Deadly Education. I finished The Samurai’s Garden, and it was only okay. The historical setting was interesting, and I liked reading about some of the characters!
