Hello, and happy February! I can’t believe that January is already over, and that it’s the first day of the February. There was a lot I was hoping to do in January that didn’t, and it was overall a pretty rough month. I did read some pretty great books though, and I’m excited to talk about them here today! This is also my 400th blog post, which is pretty crazy to me!! I’ve written so many different posts over the last couple years, and 400 posts feels like a huge milestone. So, here we go into my first monthly wrap up of 2022!

In January, I read five books
- All five were physical books

In January, I read five books. I was hoping to read more, but I’m very happy with the ones that I did read. I really enjoyed all five, and thought that they were all pretty great!

In January I wrote…
- December 2021 wrap up and January 2022 goals
- My 2022 Bookish Resolutions
- WWW Wednesday 69
- The 2021 book tag
- My top 21 reads of 2021
- WWW Wednesday 70
- My 2021 reading stats
- Last Night at the Telegraph Club, by Malinda Lo
- WWW Wednesday 71
- LTB: Do bloggers owe their readers and vice versa?
- WWW Wednesday 72
- Anticipated releases: February 2022
I wrote a total of 12 posts in January which I’m really happy about!!

I really want to read all 8 of these books in February, and I’m hoping that I’ll have time to get through all of them!

I don’t have any really specific posting goals for February, but I want to work on posting two or three times each week. I also want to try to draft posts on the weekends so that I have less to do on weekdays.

I got a little bit of writing done in January, but not too much. I did hit 20 thousand words on my fantasy book though, which was very exciting for me!! In February, I want to try to write each weekend, and hopefully hit 25 thousand words on my fantasy book by the end of the month.
I also want to do some journaling, and write in my journal at least a few times, since that’s something that I’m pretty bad at remembering to do.
Life
School has been okay this month, and I had a lot of short weeks which was very nice. I have had some problems with my back over the last couple weeks though, which hasn’t been great. It’s made it hard to keep up with school work and still have time for blogging and writing and reading, and I haven’t been able to dance much over the last couple of weeks. I’m really hoping that it feels better in February, and that I’ll be able get back to dancing!

How was your January? What are some of your goals for the February? Did you read any good books this month? Chat with me in the comments below!

ahh, i hope you do enjoy a torch against the night! i have yet to finish this series, but i hope to read the last installment soon. i think the second one really is one of the bests, though. it expands the world in a pretty dramatic way and i hope you enjoy it!
wishing you a great february & good luck with all your goals!
