Hello, and happy Wednesday! I skipped last week’s WWW Wednesday post because I hadn’t read anything thanks to how much of my time nanowrimo is taking up, but I’m back today with another little weekly reading update! I read a bunch today, so I’m excited to talk all about my current reading situation.

I am currently reading Bloody Spade, by Brittany M. Willows, Aria’s Traveling Bookshop, by Rebecca Raisin, The Gilded Wolves, by Roshani Chokshi, The Night Circus, by Erin Morgenstern, and The Song of Achilles, by Madeline Miller.

I’ve made a ton of progress on Bloody Spade this week, and it’s so good!! I’ve had very little time to read, but once I have a bit more time I’m hoping to finish it!

I haven’t read any more of Aria’s Traveling Bookshop or The Gilded Wolves, mostly because nanowrimo is taking up most of my time. I’m over halfway through The Night Circus, and it is such a beautifully written book, and has a mesmerizing story.

I’m about halfway through The Song of Achilles, and I love it so, so much. The writing is really incredible, and I can tell that it’s setting up for a truly tragic ending.

What did you recently finish reading?

This past week, I read/finished three books: I’ll Give you the Sun, by Jandy Nelson, Heartstopper volume 1, and Heartstopper Volume 2.

I read I’ll Give you the Sun for school, which definitely made the experience of reading it much worse. Overall though, I didn’t like the book, and would rate it somewhere between 2 and 3 stars.

Heartstopper on the other hand I LOVED, so, so much. I’ve wanted to read Heartstopper for a while, but never had a chance to get copies of it. I got the first book from my school library, and flew through it. Volume two went just as quickly, and I read them both today!! Everything about the books is just absolutely incredible, and Nick and Charlie are so adorable. I’m so excited to read all of the next parts, and I’m going to start tomorrow, if I had time!

What do you think you’ll read next?

Next, I want to read The Keeper of the Night, by Kylie Lee Baker. I know that’s it’s pretty unlikely that I’ll get to it though. My main goals for next week are to keep up with nano, and finish as many of the books that I’m currently reading right now.
