The End of Year Book Tag

Hello! Today I’m going to be doing the end of year book tag, which I am very excited for! I wasn’t tagged for this, but I saw it on Evelyn’s blog, and thought I’d do it to sort of wrap up my end of year reading situation.

The questions:

Are there any books you started this year that you need to finish?

Right now, there are two books that I need to finish. They are The Little Prince, by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry and Furia, by Camille Saied Méndez.

I am currently in the middle of both of them, but I’m pretty confident that I’ll be able to finish them both by the end of the year.

Do you have an autumnal book to transition into the end of the year?

I don’t. I don’t usually pick books to read because of the season, just usually because I want to read them. I am planning on reading Dash and Lily’s Book of Dares later this month because it’s set in New York during Christmas, and also in a bookstore! I don’t really celebrate Christmas, but it looks so fun, and I really liked the Netflix show, so I’m really excited for it!

Is there a new release you’re still waiting for?

Nope! I didn’t actually have that many books I was waiting on this year, because I wasn’t really paying attention to much of that, and the books I was waiting on have been released.

What are three books you want to read before the end of the year?

Three books I want to read before the end of the year are The Star-Touched Queen, by Roshani Chokshi, Legendborn, by Tracy Deonn, and Keeper of the Lost Cities, by Shannon Messenger.

Is there a book you think could still shock you and become your favourite book of the year?

Yes! I have heard the most amazing things about Legendborn, and I cannot wait to read it. It’s one of the books I’m most excited to read this month, and I think that I’m going to really like it!

Have you started making reading plans for 2021?

I kind of have. I’ve started thinking about some things, and trying to be more organized. But I’m going to be doing a lot more in the next few weeks for my reading plans for 2021, because I want to be more organized with my reading this year.

I’m going to try to be more organized with my TBRs, and new releases, and just everything in general!

I’m not going to tag anyone because I wasn’t tagged for this, but if you want to do the tag, you should! I had a lot of fun with this, and it helped me sort of organize my thoughts. I’m also probably going to do some more posts in the next few weeks about my reading plans for 2021, so you can look forwards to that!
