Happy December 2nd! It’s kind of crazy that it’s already December, but I’m kind of glad that November is over, because with nanowrimo I set aside hardly any time to read. Anyways, I have lot’s of bookish plans for this week, so I’m going to go right into the post.
WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Sam @ Taking On a World of Words, and how it works is each week I answer three questions about my the books I’ve read, finished reading and want to read next.
The three Ws:
- What are you currently reading?
- What did you recently finish reading?
- What do you think you’ll read next?
What are you currently reading?
I am currently reading Furia, by Yamile Saied Méndez, Code Name Hélène, by Ariel Lawhon, and Le Petit Prince, by Antoine De Saint-Exupéry.
I’m almost done with Furia, and it’s such an amazing book! It’s so good, and also so hearbreaking, and I’m so excited to have almost finished it.
I also am almost done reading The Little Prince, and it’s such an interesting book! I know I’m definitely not understanding everything, especially since I’m reading it in French which is not my native language, but it’s still a really fascinating book.
Code Name Hélène is really good so far. I just started it this morning, but I love it so much! I’ve wanted to read it for a while, and am so happy I finally got a copy from the library!
What did you recently finish reading?
Only one book again, but Everything All at Once was so good! I really liked it, and a review is coming soon.
If you want to see all the books I’ve read so far this year, check out my Goodreads, where I (mostly) keep up with all the books I read.
What do you think you’ll read next?
These are three books that I want to read, but I’m mostly going to just try and make my way through my December TBR.
The three books at the top of my TBR right now are The Star-Touched Queen, by Roshani Chokshi, Star Daughter, by Shveta Thakrar and Keeper of the Lost Cities, by Shannon Messenger.
I’m going to try and read these three, but I might decide on others on my TBR if I feel like it.
Have you read any of the books I mentioned? What are you currently reading? Chat with me in the comments below!
