Happy Halloween!! Because it is Halloween, I had to do a Halloween themed post, and here it is! This book was created by Beck, and it looked fun, so I thought I’d do it.

The Questions. Or prompts. Or whatever.
DEMENTOR: A BOOK SO SAD AND DEPRESSING THAT MAKES YOU CRY
You see, I am a very emotional person when it comes to books and movies and all that. I cried during Toy Story. It was so sweet, OKAY?
But the book I’d have to put for that one is… Wolf Hollow, by Lauren Wolk.

That book destroyed me, and tore me apart inside. It is so beautiful, but also so terrifying, so sad, so horrible.
THE UMBRIDGE: A BOOK YOU HATE WITH THE PASSION AND FIRE OF A THOUSAND HELLS
There are not any books that I really really hate. I guess that is because… actually, I don’t know why that is.
There are books that I definitely dislike, and there are plenty of books I think aren’t very good, but there aren’t any books that I really really hate.
I don’t know why that is though.
VAMPIRE: AN AUTHOR THAT SUCKS THE MONEY OUT OF YOU
Definitely Rick Riordan. There are 3 reasons:
- His books are amazing
- He has A LOT of books
- The shiny hardcovers are really tempting
That, my friends, is a dangerous combination. See, I have a dream of someday owning every one of Rick Riordan’s books, and um, I’m working towards that.
FRANKENSTEIN’S MONSTER: A BOOK THAT DOESN’T FIT THE TITLE

I’ve thought about it a lot, and I really have no idea where the title of this book came from. It’s a really great book, and one I love reading, but I just still don’t know why it is called Empress of the World. It just doesn’t make any sense to me!
BLOODY MARY: A HISTORICAL HORROR
I don’t read much horror, and I really can’t think of a historical horror. Do you have a favorite you can think of?
THE BOOGIE-MAN: A CLASSIC CHILDREN’S TALE THAT YOU LOVE
I guess I would choose Winnie the Pooh! I loved those stories when I was younger, and I still do, although I haven’t read any of the books in so, so long!
CLOWN: A SPOOKY BOOK WITH A CUTSEY COVER
The cover of Cinderella is Dead definitely does not prepare you for how intense this book is. At a first glance, it’s a beautiful cover with a sort of inviting look. Once you’ve read the book, you’ll realize how haunting that cover really is, and how intense and spooky the book is.

I tag:
Anyone who wants to!

Great choices! I love the cover for Cinderella is Dead – so beautiful at first glance, but once you read the book, it takes on a different meaning. The only historical horror I can think of is maybe something by Edgar Allan Poe or H.P. Lovecraft, who is actually from the state I live in! 🙂

I could talk about Cinderella is Dead’s cover for so long. The deeper meaning behind it, with the dress and the forest is easily looked over.
That’s cool! I haven’t read anything by either of those authors!!
