Two tags in a row? Yep! And today, I have one that I was tagged for way back in July, by Jaedyn @ J Long Books. Thank you so much Jaedyn; I’m so excited to do this tag! Anyways, I’m going to get right into it!

The Questions:
What are you currently reading?
I am currently reading Premeditated Myrtle, by Elizabeth C. Bunce. I’m really close to finishing it, and I either will tonight or tomorrow morning.
It took me a little while to really get into, but now I am fully invested in the mystery!!

What’s your favorite “Can’t leave the house” activity?
I would have to say… reading. For the past 7 months, I’ve been able to leave the house a little, but not nearly as much as I usually would have. I’ve gotten a ton more reading than I usually would have, and that has been really nice.
A book you’ve been meaning to read for forever?
I have been meaning to read The Woman’s Hour, by Elaine Weiss for so long! I just keep putting it off, and not picking it up. I read it (or at least most of it) in 5th grade, so almost 3 years ago now, and I sort of understood it. The thing is, it’s non-fiction, and that is a genre that I rarely read. So even though I keep putting it on my TBRs, I keep not reading it.

An intimidating book on your TBR?

One intimidating book on my TBR is… *looks around at piles of books stacked all over her room*… I have absolutly no idea.
It TBR can be defined as books that I someday hope to read in my lifetime, then I would go with Little Women, by Louisa May Alcott.
I got a copy of the book years ago, and I read about half of it. The thing is, I just couldn’t finish it. I’ve also gotten so many spoilers, that I don’t know if I would want to read it, knowing the things that I know will happen.
At the same time, it seems like such a fun book, and also something that I really want to read. It’s just so, so long!
Top three priority books on your TBR?
As if my TBR has an order.
However… The Tower of Nero, by Rick Riordan, How to Get Away with Myrtle, by Elizabeth C. Bunce and Darius the Great is Not Okay, by Adib Khorram are the top three books on my TBR.
I am aware that The Tower of Nero hasn’t come out yet but the minute that the book comes in the mail I am reading it. I have to read How to Get Away with Myrtle very soon for a blog tour, and I am so excited to, because I am loving the book that comes before it in the series! And I have just heard the most amazing things about Darius the Great is Not Okay. And because I got a copy of it, I really want to read it soon!
Recommend a short book.

What qualifies as a short book? Less than 300 pages? 200 pages? I guess I will go with A Year Down Yonder, by Richard Peck. This hilarious book is 130 pages of fun, and I recommend it to each and every one of you.
Recommend a long book.
Ah. A long book. Well, I’ve got one of those that I can send your way!

The Priory of the Orange Tree, by Samantha Shannon is an incredibly amazing book that happens to be like 800 pages long. So while it is a big commitment to read the whole book, it is 100% worth it, because this novel is amazing.
What’s something you’d love to do while you’re stuck at home?
When I’m stuck at home I find it kind of satisying to just organize my bookshelf. Not completely rearrange everything, but just standing there and moving around books until everything just fits. I do it a lot, like when I rethink my favorites shelf, or decide to organize some more books by color.
What do you plan on reading next?
I guess I already sort of answered this before, but How To Get Away with Myrtle is the next book on my TBR, and I’m going to try and finish it by Tuesday.

Oh no! It really is fun to do though 😂
I’m so glad! Little Women is so big and scary 😅 I recommend the audiobook of the Priory of the Orange Tree, if you like listening to them because it’s really good, and you can chip away at it slowly but surely. It took me so long to finish it, but it was definitely worth it!
Thanks so much for your comment 🥰
