I sort of disappeared again for a few days, but hi, I’m back, and with another post! Today, I’m going to be sharing my unboxing of the September Owlcrate box. This is also my 200th post, which is crazy. Anyways, here is what came in this month’s box!
The theme this month was A Glorious Haunting, so the box was full of spooky items, along with fall themed goodies!
My favorite part of the box was definitely the fuzzy blanket with the entire poem The Raven printed on it. It’s soft and cozy, and I really love it!
Next there was the vanilla bourbon scented candle. It was a little strong for me though, so I don’t think I’ll be burning it, because I don’t want my room smelling like that. I think that it also is a black flame candle or something though, so I’ll probably try it, just to see.
There was also pumpkin spice lip balm, which I love! I love pretty much everything pumpkin spice, and this was wonderful!!
There was a really bookmark with the words “death before dnf”, and that is… interesting. I don’t generally use actually bookmarks though, because I constantly misplace them, but I’m definitely going to try this one out!
Last there were three spoons with skulls on them; one gold, one silver, and one black. I’m not exactly sure what they’re supposed to be used for, but they are cool.
The enamel pin was a hand holding a black flower, and it really is spooky. It’s really interesting, and I like it!
The art on the spoiler card was very creepy, but fun, and added to the whole spookyness of the box.
The letter from the author was kind of hard to read, but the back of it was really cool. I love both the art and the poem.
Finally, the book of the month is Horrid, by Katrina Leno. The cover is terrifyingly beautiful, and the detail on the inside of the dust jacket (which I don’t have a picture of) is amazing.
Overall, this month’s box was very spooky and very fun!
