Hello wonderful people! Today I have a list of a few of my most anticipated releases for the second half of the year! At the end of this post, I also have an announcement, so stick with me until then!! Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by Jana @ That Artsy Reader Girl where each week there is a topic, and you make a list with books that fit the topic.

Cinderella is Dead, by Kalynn Bayron

It’s 200 years after Cinderella found her prince, but the fairy tale is over. Teen girls are now required to appear at the Annual Ball, where the men of the kingdom select wives based on a girl’s display of finery. If a suitable match is not found, the girls not chosen are never heard from again.
Sixteen-year-old Sophia would much rather marry Erin, her childhood best friend, than parade in front of suitors. At the ball, Sophia makes the desperate decision to flee, and finds herself hiding in Cinderella’s mausoleum. There, she meets Constance, the last known descendant of Cinderella and her step sisters. Together they vow to bring down the king once and for all–and in the process, they learn that there’s more to Cinderella’s story than they ever knew . . .
This fresh take on a classic story will make readers question the tales they’ve been told, and root for girls to break down the constructs of the world around them.
This book is a fairy tale retelling and will be published on July 7, just in a few days! I have seen tons of amazing things about this book, plus the synopsis looks so interesting. I am very, very excited to read this book!
The Silvered Serpents, by Roshani Chokshi

They are each other’s fiercest love, greatest danger, and only hope.
Séverin and his team members might have successfully thwarted the Fallen House, but victory came at a terrible cost ― one that still haunts all of them. Desperate to make amends, Séverin pursues a dangerous lead to find a long lost artifact rumoured to grant its possessor the power of God.
Their hunt lures them far from Paris, and into icy heart of Russia where crystalline ice animals stalk forgotten mansions, broken goddesses carry deadly secrets, and a string of unsolved murders makes the crew question whether an ancient myth is a myth after all.
As hidden secrets come to the light and the ghosts of the past catch up to them, the crew will discover new dimensions of themselves. But what they find out may lead them down paths they never imagined.
A tale of love and betrayal as the crew risks their lives for one last job.
I read The Gilded Wolves a few months ago, and I loved it! I am very excited for the sequel which comes out in September of this year!!
Girl, Serpent, Thorn, by Melissa Bashardoust

A captivating and utterly original fairy tale about a girl cursed to be poisonous to the touch, and who discovers what power might lie in such a curse…
There was and there was not, as all stories begin, a princess cursed to be poisonous to the touch. But for Soraya, who has lived her life hidden away, apart from her family, safe only in her gardens, it’s not just a story.
As the day of her twin brother’s wedding approaches, Soraya must decide if she’s willing to step outside of the shadows for the first time. Below in the dungeon is a demon who holds knowledge that she craves, the answer to her freedom. And above is a young man who isn’t afraid of her, whose eyes linger not with fear, but with an understanding of who she is beneath the poison.
Soraya thought she knew her place in the world, but when her choices lead to consequences she never imagined, she begins to question who she is and who she is becoming…human or demon. Princess or monster.
I have read many wonderful reviews of this book, and the description seems so cool! Plus, it is a fairy tale retelling (which I love) and has an incredibly beautiful cover. I predict that this book, which will be published on July 7th, is going to be one of my next 5 star reads!
The Tower of Nero, by Rick Riordan

At last, the breathtaking, action-packed finale of the #1 bestselling Trials of Apollo series is here! Will the Greek god Apollo, cast down to earth in the pathetic moral form of a teenager named Lester Papadopoulos, finally regain his place on Mount Olympus? Lester’s demigod friends at Camp Jupiter just helped him survive attacks from bloodthirsty ghouls, an evil Roman king and his army of the undead, and the lethal emperors Caligula and Commodus. Now the former god and his demigod master Meg must follow a prophecy uncovered by Ella the harpy. Lester’s final challenge will be at the Tower of Nero, back in New York. Will Meg have a last showdown with her father? Will this helpless form of Apollo have to face his arch nemesis, Python? Who will be on hand at Camp Half-Blood to assist? These questions and more will be answered in this book that all demigods are eagerly awaiting.
So, I still haven’t read the latest Trials of Apollo book, but I did put it on hold at the library, so I will be more than prepared to read The Tower of Nero when it comes out on October 6th!
Well, those are four of my most anticipated releases for the second half of 2020! I am now going to go on to my announcement….
I have gotten 100 followers on my blog!!!

I recently reached 100 followers on my blog! It is so amazing that that many people have liked my blog and subscribed, and I would like to thank everyone who’s visited my blog and subscribed and commented and given me support! I wanted to do something special for this, so I decided to do a Q & A, something that I’ve seen a lot of other blogs do, and something that seems really fun!
One note though: a few months ago I did a Q & A that didn’t get much response. So, in a few weeks when I do the second part of this post, I’ll include my answers to those questions!
I’ve decided not to do a form or anything, but to just have you leave your questions for me in the comments! In a few weeks, I’ll write a post answering all of the questions that I receive!
Ah, I actually forgot that The Silvered Serpents was coming out this year, and idk if I actually want to read it more. But anyways, congratulations!! ❤✨ That’s such an amazing milestone!! My question: what do you want to do with your blog in the future? (like, do you want to focus more on a certain genre, or be an overall reader, any redesigns etc, or are you happy with how it is now? Lol, that’s more like 5 questions 😂✨)
