The Real Neat Blog Award 2

Hello! I hope that you are all doing alright during these crazy times! I’ve been kind of overwhelmed by the amount of schoolwork I’ve been getting, but I’m going to be trying to make more time for blogging and reading other blogs. Now, I am excited that I was nominated by the amazing Julie @ One Book More, for the Real Neat Blog Award! So thank you so much, Julie! So, here my answers to her questions!

  • Display the award logo.
  • Thank the blogger who nominated you.
  • Answer the questions from the blog who nominated you.
  • Nominate seven to ten bloggers.
  • Ask them seven questions.

What is your favorite movie?

My favorite movie is probably The Sound of Music. I actually just rewatched it over the weekend with my sister, and everything about it is just so wonderful! I love the music, and the story so much!

If you could only read one book series for the rest of your life, which one would you choose?

One book series??????? I really don’t think I would survive that, to be honest. But, as tempting as it is for me to say The 39 clues or the Boxcar Children, just because there are so many of the books, I have to go with The Penderwicks, by Jeanne Birdsall. I love those books so much, and I would reread them every day and never get tired of them, and never stop laughing out loud at the hilarious stories!

If you were a superhero, what would your name be, and what super-powers would you have?

I have absolutely no idea what I’d want my super powers to be. And I definitely have no idea what my name would be. I do know that it would have something to do with reading and books, and probably also have something to do with writing.

If you could meet one fictional character, who would it be? Why?

I would want to meet Ruth, from the War I Finally Won, by Kimberly Brubaker Bradley. She is so amazing and smart and brave, and is one of my favorite fictional characters!

What is one thing on your bucket list?

I don’t have a bucket list…

Really. I’ve never really thought about my bucket list! But honestly, the one thing that I’ve always wanted to do was publish a book. So yeah.

I want to write a book. And get it published.

What is the title of the best book you’ve read this year?

They Went Left, by Monica Hesse. Really, I read this book a couple weeks ago actually, and it was amazing! I would talk and talk and talk about how amazing it is and why it’s so amazing, but instead of that, you could read my review. So I don’t endlessly repeat myself whenever someone asks me about the best book I’ve read this year.

What food will you absolutely not, under any circumstances, eat?

I’m vegetarian, so I won’t eat meat. That’s kind of a normal thing for vegetarians though, so not very interesting. I will not, however, under any circumstances, eat a tomato. That’s right. Give me a slice of pizza with cheese and tomato sauce, and I will eat it. Give me some pasta with pasta sauce, and I will eat it. But force me to eat a fresh, juicy tomato, and I’ll gag. I don’t even know why. I just really can’t and won’t eat tomatoes.

  1. Okay, I’m kinda late, but thank you so mucb for the tag!!!🤗
About the food, I can’t eat cooked spinach. Like, baby spinach raw in a salad, yes. But cooked in any way – nope.
And The Penderwicks! I remember reading one of the book sas a child and loving it! Then I forced my friend to read it and borrowed her the book and she never gave it back… the struggle.

Anyways, I hope you’ll have a wonderful month and less schoolwork.😂

  2. THANKS SOOOO MUCH FOR THE TAG!! And your answers are great: I absolutely adore the Penderwicks – best series ever! I read the first book when I was six and I haven’t stopped loving it ever since! I usually listen to the audiobooks when I’m sick and it reminds me soooo much of childhood!! And good luck to writing a book – that’s def also on my bucket list, though very very far down the line!
