YARC 2020: Year of the Asian Reading Challenge

Hello!!! As I said about a week ago, I have decided to participate in the year of the Asian reading challenge! I know that I probably should have signed up and started back in January, but it’s better late than never!

The Year of the Asian Reading Challenge is a reading challenge hosted by Lily @ Sprinkles of Dreams, Shealea @Shut Up Shealea, Vicky @ Vicky Who Reads and CW @ The Quiet Pond. The goal of this challenge is to read as many books written by Asian authors as you can! Any book by an Asian author counts!

My goal:

My goal is to reach the Indian Cobra level, which is to read 11 to 20 books by Asian authors! I have no idea if this is too much, or too little, but I’ll see what I can get to!

This is also going to be my update post, so I’ll do my best to post monthly the books I’ve read!

Books read:

  1. Amina’s Voice, by Hena Kahn
  2. It Ain’t So Awful, Falafel, by Firoozeh Dumas
  3. The Gilded Wolves, by Roshani Chokshi
  4. The School for Good and Evil, by Soman Chainani

So, that’s all for right now! I’m not going to be making a TBR because I really don’t have time, and I want to officially start this challenge before the year gets any further along!

Are you participating in the year of the Asian reading challenge? Have you read any good books by Asian authors this year? Chat with me in the comments below!
